Faberge is a restaurant in Montreal that is well known for its relaxing atmosphere, and its unique and delicious breakfast!
Ever had poutine for breakfast? Well Faberge has a Morning Poutine made with their delicious home made fries, topped with cheese curds, a hollandaise sauce and an egg. You don't want to miss this if you're a poutine fan!
My Experience
One thing I learnt for my next visit to Faberge: don't come too late.Just as the proverb states "the early bird gets the worm", if you want to enjoy your delicious breakfast or brunch under the beautiful sunshine, then you better get there early because Faberge is really packed!
You need to wait to get the outdoor tables, and there is a lineup if you get there around 12PM. I must admit, I got there really late, shouldn't call that a brunch anymore, but a lunch. oupsy
My First Impression
The lighting, the decor, and the staff really do bring a relaxing atmosphere, it's just like eating somewhere you are familiar with. The most interesting concept in the restaurant, from my point of view anyways, is the cartoons that were playing on the televisions.

No news or sport competitions, just some cartoons from the old times! If you know all of these cartoons than you know what I'm talking about. Away from the complicated world! You are going back to your childhood!
Food and Service
The servers are nice and energetic, they make sure that you feel comfortable and give recommendation according to your taste and interest.
Since the restaurant was full, I was expecting a longer food service. Surprisingly, my order came 15 minutes after.

The omelette is delicious! I am happy I chose the combo of these three ingredients, the flavours blend really well together. The potatoes are tasty, however I personally found that it was too salty, but my sister loved it!

The melted cheese with the fresh ham will be something that would make you come back for more! And the crepe? Soft and delicious!
I also ordered a mango smoothie. Extremely yummy, but served in a hot glass (I guess there was too much customers, they took the glass directly from the dishwasher).
My Thought
I would definitely come back and try more of their breakfast! It's a good place to start your day off with friends and family.

Faberge really deserved this all star rating, I would totally recommend anyone to go, it was a splendid experience. I love it!
