[Urban Decay] Why You Should Get The Naked Basics Palette

It's been a while since Urban Decay released its Naked Basic Palette, but since I'm at my second palette (yes, I used up one whole eyeshadow palette) I thought that I should share this product with you.

Urban Decay has several well known Naked palettes: Naked, Naked 2, Naked 3. Naked Basics
People go crazy for these three palette, but here is why you should also get the Naked Basics.

Use it Everyday

Unlike the other Naked palettes, Naked Basics only have 6 shades: 5 matte shades (Foxy, Walk of Shame, Naked 2, Faint, Crave) and 1 satin shade (Venus). These 6 shades are essential to make any everyday looks. Since the palette is mostly matte, you can use it everyday, on any occasions.

Naked Basics Swatches

User Friendly

The palette does not come with a brush, but that shouldn't be an issue.
The colours are very pigmented and easy to blend which makes it easy to create different looks, even for an amateur!

Travel Mate

Need to travel? or simply want to change a look during the day? Just throw the Naked Basics in your bag or your purse. It's small enough to be taken everywhere.

One Palette, Thousand Looks

One thing I love about Naked Basics is the possibility to create different looks. The palette provides you with 6 essential shades for any skin colour, so go ahead and be creative!

All-in-One

My everyday eye makeup takes me as little as 5 minutes and it's super natural!
If you're in a hurry and don't have much time to put on makeup, then Naked Basics might be your new best-friend.

Depending on your skin colour shades may vary,
Use "Naked 2" for  brows, believe me you look much better when you fill them.
Apply "Foxy" on eyelids, then "Faint" on outer crease. (You can totally play with the colours here)
Use "Crave" to replace eyeliner, make sure you use the right brush to create the line you want.
Contour the face with "Naked 2"
Highlight cheekbone and brows with "Venus"
